Day by day
Day 1Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast we leave for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a day of game drives, then drive to the lodge in the late afternoon.
Day 2Tarangire to the Ngorongoro Crater
A short morning game drive takes us to the Tarangire gate. From there we drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, entering through Lodoare Gate in the late afternoon, and on to the lodge on the crater rim.
Day 3Full day in the Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast we descend into the crater for a full day of game viewing, including a picnic lunch on the crater floor. This is your best chance to see the rare black rhino.
Day 4Ngorongoro to the Serengeti
We leave Ngorongoro for the Serengeti. The drive is a game drive in itself as we pass Naabi Hill Gate and cross onto the open plains, reaching the lodge in the late afternoon.
Day 5Full day in the Serengeti
Leave the lodge with a picnic lunch for a full game drive in the heart of the Serengeti, then return in the late afternoon to relax and watch the sunset.
Day 6Serengeti to Arusha
A short morning game drive towards Naabi Hill Gate, then we leave the Serengeti and drive back to Arusha for dinner.
Day 7Fly to Zanzibar
After breakfast we take you to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival you are transferred to your hotel on the island — the end of your safari and the start of your beach holiday.
